Charged and Advice of Receipt envelope addressed to France endorsed 'Valeur Declaree/ quetre cents francs' bearing Yvert 36, 40c orange (2) and Yvert 42, 15c grey tied by Basse-Terre/ Guadeloupe double ring with boxed 'A.R.' and hand-struck 'CHARGE' with framed accountancy on reverse, sent on the French Paquebot "Versailles' with octagonal 'Colon a St. Nazaire L.A No 2' date stamp (Salles 1408).

Very scarce franking paying the postage, Advice of Receipt and Charged mail to France total 95 cents.
