Persian Gulf. (Muscat - India). 1916. Picture post card of 'Native Well, Muscat' addressed to an Engineer on the "S.S. "Pundura", Bombay' bearing India SG 152, 3p pale grey tied by Muscat date stamp '11th July 16' with Bombay arrival '23rd Jul' and circular 'Passed By Censor/ Bombay 3' in violet and forwarded to Karachi with receiver '23rd July. Very scarce commercial card from Muscat paying the 'Printed Matter' postcard rate with censor applied in Bombay. Very nice World War One item of censored mail from Muscat.
