Registered Air Mail envelope addressed to Switzerland bearing Afghanistan Yvert 308, 80f brown, Yvert 309, 1f mauve and Yvert 310, 2f carmine tied by Kaboul date stamp '31st Dec 39' with hand-struck 'R/ Kabual/ No 143' in violet routed via Peshawar with 'Opened by Censor' label and triangular 'Passed Censor/ Peshawar/ 1' in carmine on face with Lausanne arrival '22nd Feb 40' on reverse. Beautiful item of registered mail via Peshawar.
