Air Mail envelope written from 'The Royal Netherlands Forces Group 8, Batchelor, N.I.' addressed to 'Mrs Habig, Melbourne;, endorsed 'By Air Mail' bearing Australia SG 204, 1 1/2d green and SG 206, 2 1/2d scarlet tied by 'Air Force P.O. No 22' date stamp '14th Dec 1943' and signed by the censor.
The Royal Netherlands East Indies Army Air Force operated from Batchelor.
Passed Censor No 15 assigned to Batchelor, Northern Territories is not recorded by "Putten and Nico de Weijer' in the excellent book on 'Postal Censorship and Internment Camp Mail in the Netherlands Indies 1940 - 1942.
