Registered and Charged envelope addressed to France bearing Yvert 4, 6k brown tied by Ollmutz double ring '30/12' on reverse with hand-struck 'Franco' and 'Recom' in black and 'Charge' in red on face, hand-stamp 'P.D.' with oval '7/ A.E.D.' (Affranchissement Etranger Destination) with superb wax seal in red on reverse and French entry cachet in red and Besancon receiver on reverse. A lovely item of first issue mail going overseas.
