Persian Gulf. (Bahrain - Postage Due). 1954. Air Mail envelope addressed to the United States bearing Bahrain SG 87, 6a on 6d purple tied by Awali/ Bahrain double ring '16th Oct 54' with hand-struck 'T' on face struck twice.
Lovely item, the cover was underpaid and should have paid one rupee to North America. Scarce usage of the Indian Postal period tax hand-stamp.
