Belgian Congo. 1900. Belgian Congo postal stationery card 15c orange cancelled by Tumba date stamp in blue '4th Dec' with Matadi transit on face addressed to London. Tumba Post Office opened in 1896 at what was then the railhead of the Matadi to Leopoldville Railway, it closed in 1905 in favour of Thysville. Very fine and scarce.
