Belgian Congo. ( South Atlantic Service ) 1943. Registered Aid mail envelope addressed to New York bearing Belgian Congo 50c green ( pair ), 75c purple and grey ( pair ) and 10f brown ( pair ) tied by Leopoldville date stamp '10th May 43' with matching registration label with 'Congo Belge' censor tape, routed via Nigeria with 'Opened by Examiner' censor tape tied by framed 'Passed/PP/15' in Carmine on face with Miami 'June'2nd' and New York arrival '3/6'. Very fine item paying the 22f50 rate sent P.A.A. 3rd Phase of the South Atlantic Service. Ex Proud.

11 May 1943. Belgian Congo to USA, Censored, and then by 'BOAC' IT144 which flew Leopoldville to Lagos 21 May, censored again in Lagos. By flight leaving Lagos circa 29 May which arrived 1st June (b/s 2nd June). Delivered 3rd June (b/s). Franked F22.50.
