Registered envelope addressed to Denmark bearing Greenland Facit 1, (marginal block of four and single) and Facit 3, 7 ore green (block of four and single) tied by Angmagssalik date stamp '20th Sept 39' with matching registration label (R/ 002) and brown censor tape, routed via New York and Philadelphia 'Nov 11 40' with instructional 'Released By/ Prize Court' in black on reverse and indistinct Danish arrival on face.
Registered envelope from Greenland detained in Bermuda during the war. In the later stages of the war the problem arose what to do with the mail which had been detained by the censor.
Mail with the 'Released By Prize Court' hand-stamp is known with a red and black cachet and 'Flynn reports 5 known to him between 1948 and 1951.
