Brazil postal stationery envelope 200r blue cancelled by Rio de Janeiro date stamp written from German Prisoner of War in 'Camp No 1' with framed '(Red Cross) Correspondance/Des Prisoners De Guerre Au Brasil' in violet with circular 'Estado Maior Da Armada/Servico da Censura' in violet on reverse, addressed to the 'Deutsche Hilpsverien, Stockholm' with 'Opened by Censor/P.W. 209' label and Stockholm arrival. Rare item from German Seaman captured in Brazilian waters and interned, the address in Stockholm is under-cover, the mail was then forwarded to Germany.
