Tenbroert, Apprentice Ship "Sheila" Cork St. Liverpool' bearing India SG 104, 2 1/2a green tied by Calcutta date stamp '23 Jan' with Liverpool arrival 'Ap 9' on reverse and forwarded to Georgetown, Demeraray with circular Georgetown B. Guiana '4th May' on reverse and hand-struck instructional 'ADVERTISED' on face, endorsed 'Left Ship in Demerara' in red ink with Georgetown squared circle dispatch and endorsed 'Exchange, Trinidad' with Port of Spain/ Trinidad receiver. Very rare instructional Townsend records only one date in 1911 and Proud has seen two others.
