Stamp-less envelope addressed to London cancelled by Berbera/ British Somaliland date stamp '8th April 1940' with framed 'Passed by/ 38/ Censor' and 'S.C.C., K.A.R./ Br Somaliland' hand-stamp on face. The Somaliland Camel corps had a total strength of 14 British Officers and the troops ethnic Somalis. Humphrey French was the son of Major Herbert Cummins French and was attached to 'C Company' at Burao and later at Berbera. A rare item with text from the Camel Corps with rare censor.
