British West Indies. (Bermuda - Peru). 1942. Registered Air Mail envelope addressed to Switzerland bearing Peru Yvert 360, 20c lilac, Yvert 363, 2s green (2) and SG Air Mail Yvert 55, 70c grey tied by Lima date stamp with registered label, routed via Antigua and Bermuda with censor tape (Antigua) with 'P.C. 90 Opened by Examiner I.B./ 6044 (I.C.) censor tape applied on top.
Scarce use of the Antiguan censor label used in Bermuda. Examiners were moved between censor stations and sometimes brought resealing tapes with them. This necessitated alteration of the code to that new station.
The altered Bermuda 'I/C 6044 is over under censor label, maybe Antigua.
