Burma. (Singapore). 1941. Registered envelope addressed to Singapore bearing Burma SG 20, 6p blue, SG 22, 1a purple-brown (block of nine) and SG 24, 2a carmine tied by Rangoon double ring '20th Dec 41' with matching Rangoon registration label with instructional 'Service Suspended/ returned to sender' hand-stamp on face and forwarded to Calcutta with framed 'Crown/ Passed/ DHA 21' censor cachet and boxed 'D.L.O./ Calcutta/ 26 MAY 42' on reverse. Lovely item of interrupted mail due to the Occupation of Singapore by the Japanese.
