Burma. (Great Britain - Trans-Pacific Mail). 1941. Air Mail envelope addressed to Rangoon, Burma bearing Great Britain SG 477, 5s red tied by Carlisle roller '1st July 1941', endorsed 'Via Transatlantic/ Transpacific' with Rangoon/ Sorting receiver '23rd July' and forwarded to Mandalay '24/7' on reverse. Very scarce item paying the five shilling 'Two Ocean' route into Burma before the Japanese Occupation.
