Air Mail envelope written from the 'Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation/ Sourabaja' addressed to Tientsin, China bearing Netherlands Indies SG 270, 5c blue and SG 440, 1g violet tied by Sourabaja date stamp '7th Nov 41' with 'Diboeka Oleh Censuur' label tied by circular 'Ned. Ind. Deviezeninstituut/ Deviezen/ Censuur/ 3' in carmine on face and reverse, endorsed 'Air Throughout via Rangoon' with Singapore brown censor tape tied by 'Passed By Censor/ 42/ A' hand-stamp on face and reverse with circular 'E' and '32' censor cachet with triangular 'Passed Censor/ X/ 14' on face in violet applied in Rangoon.

Lovely item of war time air mail sent over the 'Hump' carried by KNILM' to Batavia and Singapore, by 'KLM' to Bangkok and 'BOAC' to Rangoon and 'CNAC' to Tientsin.
