Air Mail envelope addressed to Cape Town bearing French Cameroun Yvert 130, 5f brown and black and Yvert 227, 1f75 blue (pair) tied by Douala date stamp '28th Nov 42' with circular 'Controle Postal/ Commission A/ Territoire du Cameroun' routed via Senegal with 'Controle Postal Militaire' censor label tied by oval 'Ouvert/ Par/ L'Autorite Militaire' and Stanleyville (Belgian Congo) transit '25th Dec' on reverse with circular 'Released/ A' censor hand-stamp applied in Cape Town. Lovely item. Ex Maddocks and illustrated in his book.
