Envelope addressed to Victoria, British Camerouns bearing French Cameroun Yvert 140, 75c brown and lilac (pair) and Yvert 215, 25c grey (pair) tied by M, Banga date stamp '29th Oct 41' with 'Control Postal/ Commission A/ Territoire du Cameroun' negative seal, routed via Senegal with 'Controle Postal Militaire' censor tape tied by oval 'Ouvert/ Par/ L'Autorite Militaire' and Lagos with framed horseshoe 'Censor' in Carmine on face and 'Victoria-Cameroons/Under British Mandate' receiver '31st Oct'. Very attractive item with scarce negative censor. Ex Maddocks.
