(Francaise Militaire) addressed to M'Balmayo cancelled by Douala date stamp '12th Oct 42' with double ring 'Forces Francais Commbattants/Le Commandants/ de la 2m Cie/ Douala/ A.F.L./ 1st R.T.C.' on face with oval 'Forces Francaise Libres/ Place de Douala/ La Vaguemestre' and circular 'Controle Postal/ Commission A/ Territoire du Camerouns' with M'Balmayo arrival on reverse. Superb item from a unit of 'Regiment Tirailleurs de Cameroun' with 'Postmaster' (Vaguemestre) censor. Ex Maddocks and noted in his book. Very rare.
