Air Mail envelope addressed to 'Comite International de la Croix Rouge, Geneva, Switzerland' bearing French Cameroun Yvert 119, 50c green and carmine (pair) tied by Ayos date stamp '14th Avril 43' with circular 'Control Postal/ Commission B/ Territoire du Cameroun' on face, routed via Senegal with 'Controle Postal Militaire' label tied by oval 'Ouvert/Par/ l' Autorite Militaire' with 'Opened by Examiner' label tied by carmine framed 'Crown/ Passed/ PP/ 15' Nigerian censor with Lagos transit '19th May' and German censor label (x for Paris) tied by circular German censor cachet in red. The cover has been taxed with framed 'T' but not collected. Very fine with red vertical lines JUSQU'A mark applied at office of exchange. Ex Maddocks and illustrated in his book.
