Camerouns. (French Camerouns-Algeria). 1944. Air Mail envelope written from Ebolowa addressed to France bearing French Camerouns Yvert 119, 50c green and carmine and Yvert 128, 1f50 ultramarine (6) tied by 'Courier Official Paris' hand-stamp with adjacent 'Bureau du Courier Official Paris' date stamp '22nd Nov 44' and hand-stamp 'Le Minister/ des Colonies' in red on face, routed via Algeria with circular 'Secretariat D'Etat aux Colonies/ Bureau de Courier'. After Paris was liberated mail could be sent via the Cabinet Civil, each resident was allowed to send three letters. The mail was routed via Algeria and the stamps cancelled on arrival.
