Pre-Stamp folded envelope (with full text) written from Kingston on Canada dated '9th June 1815' addressed to France routed via Quebec with oval Crown 'Ship Letter/Quebec' in black and framed instructional 'Returned/For/Postage', routed via Falmouth with oval 'Ship Letter/Falmouth' in red (Robertson S4), London transit '10th Oct' and rated '2/8' paying the double letter rate. Very rare early Quebec Ship Letter.
