Canada.(Small Queen). 1870. COVER FRONT addressed to the 'Clerk of the Circuit Court' Mount Clemens, Macomb County, Michigan' bearing Canada 'Small Queen' SG 79, 3c Indian Red (block of eight + adjacent block of eight and a pair) tied by cork cancel with adjacent Toronto date stamp 'Sept 1st 70'.
The 1st Ottawa Printing Small Queen Indian Red also known as 'copper red' was issued in January 1870 on white vertical wove paper. SG 79, (Canada 37b).
Cover front but a spectacular multiple franking of the Indian Red.
