Red Cross Envelope written from 'Colpetty, Colombo' addressed to 'Comite International de la Croix Rouge, Geneva, Switzerland' headed 'Red Cross postal Message Scheme' bearing SG 386, 2c black and carmine and SG 388, 6c blue and grey (4) tied by Colombo/Foreign double ring with circular 'Ceylon Branch/B.R.C.S.' in red on face, framed 'Crown/Passed/ L/7' censor and 'Opened by Examiner 4917' label with German censor tape tied by German censor on reverse. Lovely item.
