Picture post card of 'Coconut Palms on Sea Shore, Colombo' addressed to Russia bearing (on picture side) SG 305, 6c carmine tied by Colombo double ring 'Sp 16 16' with circular 'Passed Censor/ Colombo' in violet, routed via Geneva '22/10' with instructional 'Service Postal/ Suspendu' in violet and returned to Ceylon with circular 'Colombo/ Returned Letter Office' received '11th Dec 18'.
Mail to Russia was suspended due to the Revolution. A lovely item of interrupted mail.
