Stamp-less envelope written from 'Valparaiso' date 'April 14th 1876' addressed to England cancelled by 'Valparaiso/ Unpaid' date stamp on reverse 'Ap 15' with circular tax hand-stamp '1/6d' on face (applied to mail from British Packets in Plymouth) and Shrewsbury receiver on reverse 'My 31st'. Very scarce British Post Office un-paid cover from Chile. Exhibition quality.
