China. (Russian Post Offices in Manchuria). 1904. Picture post card written from Port Arthur dated '15th Jan 04' addressed to Vichy, France bearing Russia Yvert 41, 4k rose tied by Port Artur/ Pochtov Kont/ 7 date stamp (Tchil Fig 542) with Vichy receiver and forwarded to Biskra/ Constantine (Algeria) with arrival on face '21st Feb'. Very nice item of mail from the French Brigade at the commencement to the Russo-Japanese War.
