Envelope with letter written from Shanghai dated '11th Dec 1879' addressed to France bearing France 'Type Sage' Yvert 93, 35c yellow/black tied by 'by '5108' in lozenge with adjacent Shang-Hai/Chine date stamp '11th Dec' with French entry cachet in red on face and Versailles arrival on reverse. Superb item from the 'Jourdan' correspondence.
