China. (French Post Office In China - Boxer War). 1902. Registered post card of 'Central view of Imperial Palace at Peking' addressed to France bearing French China SG 2, 5c yellow-green and SG 6, 15c blue mixed with France 'Type Sage' Yvert 103, 10c black tied by 'Tresor et Postes Aux Armees/ Chine 5' double ring '26th Aout 02' with framed hand-struck 'R' and Lugrin arrival '11th Oct' on face. The French Troops defended Tientsin against the Boxers from October 1900 until 16th May 1902, registered mail from when they arrival in Peking is very rare.
