Stamp-less Picture post card of 'Annamites market traders resting' endorsed 'Troupes du Tonkin' written from Dinh-Lap dated '20th Oct 1903.' with bilingual 'Poste de Dnh-Lap/Le Commandant de Armees' and circular 'Corps Expeditionnaire' routed via Vinh-Yen/Tonkin '22/03', signed by the Commander with 'T' hand-stamp and bearing French postage due Yvert 29, 10c brown (pair) tied by Riberac /Dordogne double ring '2nd Dec'. Mail from the French Occupation should not have been taxed. This post card was charged the single letter rate. Lovely item mailed from the Military Post Office in Dinh-Lap 6 years before the civil opening.
