Picture post card of 'The Boxer Campaign' written from Tien-Tsin dated '26th Sept 04' addressed to Nice, France bearing French China SG 38, 10c carmine tied by Tien-Tsin Chine Poste Francaise double ring with circular 'Corps d' Occupation de Chine 1/2 Esen de Chasseurs d' Afrique/ Le Captaine Commandant' in violet on face, endorsed 'via Suez; with bold 'via Suez' hand-stamp. Much scarcer routing than the Siberian route. A lovely item.
