Coloured picture post card of 'Actress in Ming Period dress' addressed to France bearing Chinese Imperial Post SG 111, 4c chestnut and SG 115, 10c green tied by Imperial Chinese Post Office Hankow date stamp '11th Dec 03' with hand-struck 'R/ Hankow (China / No' and endorsed 'Recommande', routed via Manchuria with 'Via Dalney' and 'Han-Keou-Chine/ Post Francaise' dated '12/12' of the French Post Office Hankow on face with Macon-Gare and Le Creusot arrival '27th Jan 04' on face. Very attractive.
Lovely item paying the picture post card rate of four cents plus ten cents registration fee, routed via Manchuria.
