China. (Yunnan - Fou). 1904. Imperial Chinese Post postal stationery card 1c rose (with hand-drawn illustration on reverse) bearing Yunnansen SG 5, 10c rose tied by Mongtze B/ Chine double ring '8th Aout 04' addressed to France.
The French established the railway into Yunnan. The city of Yunnan was closed to foreigners and the postmark 'Mongtze B' was used between 1902-04 as the cancel for Yunnan.
