Envelope headed 'Corps Expeditionnaire du Chine' addressed to France bearing French China 'Type Blanc' SG 37, 5 c green (strip of three) tied by 'Tientsin Poste Francaise' date stamp '19th Juil 05' with hand-stamp 'Corres d' Armees' and circular '16th Regt. D' Infantery de Marine' with (anchor in center), hand-stamped with bold 'Voie Siberie' on face and Pay-de-Dome arrival on reverse '20th Aout'. Very fine item with wonderful four page text mentioning the various Foreign Troops fighting in the Boxer Campaign including Dutch (most unusual), Belgian and Austrians.
