Stamp-less envelope written from Shanghai addressed to France endorsed 'F.M.' cancelled by framed 'Franchais Militaire/ Des Forces Navales D' Extreme Orient' with circular 'Marine Francaise/ Service a la Mer' in violet and boxed 'Via Transsiberian' on face with Finistere arrival '4th Dec 36' on reverse. Lovely item from the French Naval Base in China.
