Picture post card written from Canton dated '3rd Feb 1924' of the sloop "Altair" addressed to Belgium bearing China SG 274, 6c grey tied by Canton date stamp with circular cachet 'Division Navale D' Extreme Orient/ Aviso "Altair" Le Captaine de Frigate/ W. Verbergh/ Commandant' in violet on face. Superb item written from the French Frigate "Altair" by the Commander and signed by him.
Very rare item in wonderful quality.
