Picture post card of 'Chinese Bamboo Kuli' written from Shanghai dated 'November 27 1899' addressed to Belgium bearing Chinese Imperial Post SG 124, 4c chestnut tied by 'Pa Kua' obliterator with adjacent Shanghai Local Post date stamp 'No 27 99' on face, routed via the French Post Office Shanghai bearing French China Yvert 4, 10c black. lilac tied by Shang-Hai/ China double ring '28th Nov' with octagonal French paquebot 'Ligne N Paq. Fr. No 6' date stamp (Salles 1924) and La Hestre arrival with circular postmans chop '12' on face.

Very nice item of mail originating in the Shanghai Local Post and sent via the Imperial and French Post Offices to Belgium.
