South Africa' bearing Cuba Yvert 145, 5c blue tied by Havana/ Cuba date stamp, routed via the United States with New York N.Y. For. B'ch transit 'Feb 8th 1902' with Bloemfontein arrival and forwarded to Kroonstad with 'E.R./Opened Under Martial Law/ Initials of Censoring Officer' label and signed, label tied by oval 'Passed Censor/ Kroonstad' on face and receiver on reverse.
A very scarce Boer War usage from Cuba, perhaps to one of the Foreign Volunteers.
