Folded letter written from 'Havana' dated '28th May 1866' with oval 'Rausch & Co, Habana' firms cachet, addressed to France, endorsed 'via New York' with circular 'New-York Br Pkt' dated 'Apr 4' and '20' cent double weight debit to France hand-stamp applied, French 'Etas Unis' entry cachet '15th' Avril' and Paris arrival with hand-struck '24' on face.

Double letter rate cover carried from Cuba to New York by 'U.S. Mail Line' and over the Atlantic by Cunard Line.
