Denmark. (Thailand - Incoming Mail). 1911. Denmark postal stationery card 10 ore red cancelled by Kobenhavn roller date stamp '10th Feb 1911' addressed to 'The East Asiatic Company, Muang Prae, Siam via Bangkok' with Bangkok/ 2 transit '12/3' and Bangkok/ 5 with bilingual Prae arrival '18th March 11' on face.
Very fine item routed via Bangkok then train north to Phitsanulok then by horses and donkey to Prae (Phrae).
By 1910 the railway north had been extended again and European mail took the same time whether sent via Moulmein (Burma) or Bangkok.
