Envelope addressed to 'Monsieur Grossin, Commandant la Gendarmerie de Indo-China on board the "Ernest Simons" , Port Said' bearing France 'Type Mouchon' Yvert 117, 15c orange (pair) tied by Paris date stamp '10th Mars 02' with "Ernest Simons" hand-stamp in violet, "Tonkin" paquebot hand-stamp and oval 'Messageries Maritimes/ Polynesien' dated '20 May 1902' on face with instructional 'Retour/A L'Envoyeur/ Port Said' on face, Port Said/Egypt French Post Office receiver '19th Mars' and returned '18 Juil' via French paquebot La Reunion a Marseille L.V. No 3' on face. Superb item from the French Post Office in Port Said. Exhibition item.
