Envelope endorsed 'Service des Prisonniers de Guerre' addressed to 'British Prisoner of War, P.M. 220, Italy' bearing SG 249, 1/2d green (2) and SG 267, 2 1/2d on 2d brown and green tied by Ba/ Fiji date stamp '16th Dec 41', with 'Opened by Censor' label tied by oval 'Passed By Censor/ 5', routed via New Zealand with 'Opened by Censor' label tied by circular 'Passed by Censor N.Z./ 93.'
The Provisional label (black on white) is recorded by John Little from (13.Jan.42) - (12.Feb.42), this example is dated 16th December 1941 and the censor hand-stamp no 5 from (13.Dec.41).
