Registered stamp-less envelope headed 'Gouvernement General De L' Indochine/ Service de L' Inscription Maritime' endorsed 'F.M.', cancelled by Saigon Commerce/ Cochinchine date stamp '2nd July 41' , endorsement 'No 382' (for registration) with circular 'Gouverement General de L' Indochine/ Inscription Maritime/ Saigon' hand-stamp in violet on face and reverse, routed via London or Bermuda with 'P.C. 90/ Opened by Examiner 4733/ 51-8959--W.H.H. Ltd.' censor label and Bastia/ Corse arrival on face and reverse '11th Aug 42'.' A very nice item of Official "Inscription" (Registration) mail, possibly detained but certainly delayed as the cover was over a year in transit.
