Stamp-less envelope addressed to Nova Scotia cancelled by Pointe-a-Pitre/ Guadeloupe date stamp '26th Jan 64', forwarded via the British Post Office Guadeloupe with 'Guadeloupe' double arc date stamp in red on reverse 'Ja 27 1864', routed via the Danish West Indies with British Post Office St. Thomas on reverse and Annapolis/ N.S. receiver on reverse 'Feb 24', charged with hand-struck 'CTS/ 10' erased by bar obliterator and rated '4' and '13 1/2' in m/s on face. Superb item from the British Post Office in Guadeloupe routed via the Danish West Indies.
