Registered envelope addressed to France bearing Oceania Yvert 64, 1f50 on 1f ultramarine tied by Vaitepaua/ Ile Makatea date stamp '23rd Jan 31' with matching registered label. Very scarce item of commercial registered mail from this small atoll in the Tuamotu Archipelago. (the Phosphorus mines having closed the population is now around 80 ! ).
