Envelope with four page letter written from St. Louis dated '7th September 1878 addressed to France bearing French General Colonies Yvert 34, 20c brown/ lilac and Yvert 36, 25c ultramarine tied by Senegal Et Depces St-Louis date stamp in blue '7th Sept 78' with adjacent strike and French entry cachet 'Outre-Mer Amb. Irun a Bordx.' date stamp in red (Salles 1192) dated '7th Oct' with Eure arrival and forwarded to Rouen '10th Oct' on reverse. Very fine and attractive franking.
