Stamp-less envelope written from St. Pierre dated 'July 7th 1850', addressed to Gloucester, Massachusetts, endorsed 'per packet via Sydney' with circular 'Boston/ 5 Cts' date stamped '21st July' in red on face. Very nice item from Saint Pierre et Miquelon sent via the summer route of Cape Breton and not Halifax, Nova Scotia.
