Stamp-less envelope addressed to Noumea, New Caledonia cancelled by Kouroussa/ Soudan Francais double ring '5th Juil 00' with miltsry cachet 'Corps Expeditionnaire du Soudan Francaise' on face and counter signed by the Commander, routed via French Guinea with Conakry/ Guinee Francais transit on reverse '26th Juil', with octagonal French paquebot 'Loango a Marseille L.M. No 2' date stamp '31st Juil' (Salles 1256), routed via Paris '16th Aout' in red on reverse and Noumea/ Nelle Caledonie arrival '26th Sept 00' and forwarded to Nepou in blue crayon. Amazing item of destination mail from the French Occupation of Soudan to the French Pacific Island of New Caledonia.
