French Indo-China. (French Naval Forces). 1930. Stamp-less envelope addressed to Paris endorsed 'F.M.' cancelled by octagonal 'Cuirasse - "Waldeck Rousseau" date stamp '18th Feb 30' (stuck twice) with circular 'Divieson Navale Extreme Orient/ Franchaise Militaire' in violet on face and Paris arrival '19th Mars' on reverse.

The "Waldeck Rousseau" was launched March 4th 1908. After the outbreak of WW1 she joined the main French fleet that blocked the southern end of the Atlantic. In May 1929 she was sent to French Indo-China as the flagship of the French Fleet in Asia.
Desrousseaux volume 4 places the "Waldeck Rousseau" at 'Baie d' Along' in China during 1930.
