Stamp-less folded letter written from Constantinople dated 'Oct 19 1864' addressed to France cancelled by "Neva" double ring '19th Oct 1864' (Salles Fig 800) with boxed 'Paquebots/ De La/ Mediterranee' in red on face, charged with hand-struck '10' on face and Marseille transit on reverse '26th Oct'. Very fine.
The "Neva" made 5 voyages from Constantinople in 1864.
